Corinna is sure-fire one of the most amazing women I’ve met whilst blogging!

When I read her posts..I’m always encouraged or made to think..and I know it’s weird to say..but I feel radiant when I read them.. 😛

Corinna often times speaks about things that I am struggling with or have struggled with in a way that always surprises me (as most times I can relate I mean). I don’t know..but she’s just different..a very refreshing kind of different. Go and check out her blog to see for yourself!

Now for my nomination (One..not fifteen..I always cheat on this one! lol)

Now..the reason I have nominated this person for this award is because I think he is an amazing writer. I don’t restrict myself to the blogs I subscribe to and his is unashamedly honest and incredibly intriguing.

He writes poetry (some of which is towards his other half that I find is always very sweet), he is also a published author and wears many other hats, and although he may write things at times I’m not too sure I agree with..I read them non-judgemental and with an open mind.

I always state to him that he is an underrated writer. He is hands down one of the bloggers I always look forward to reading posts from.

Now for more random things about me..(seven to be exact..*he he*) ..let’s see

1. Cats make me uncomfortable. Kittens I’m okay with..but cats..today that cat I told you about before here, was staring at me again..*shudders*. I closed the window.
2. I don’t like celebrating my birthday..but this year I’ve decided that maybe I would like to do something.
3. I don’t have my ears pierced.
4. One time when I was about 7 or so..my room was really messy and my mum told me to clean it. Being a child..I didn’t proceed to do it right away. I shared a room with one of my sisters and we had a bunk-bed (Yes, one of those old style wooden ones!) that I never used the ladder to get in and out. One day (after my mum had told us to clean our room several times) I was jumping out of my bunk-bed and I landed on a colouring pencil and it went straight up my foot and the lead broke off inside. As you can imagine, I was in a lot of pain and my mum just kept saying if you’d cleaned your room this wouldn’t have happened..and instead of taking me to A&E (I thought I was going to die from lead poisoning or something), she proceeded to extract the embedded lead with a TOOTHPICK and nail cutter. Needless to say I was not impressed. After that my room stayed quite clean..the injury was incentive enough!
5. It really irritates me when people touch/move/use my things and don’t put them back where they got them from.
6. When I was younger, I remember once I’d asked my mum why some people were so short and others so tall (I was an inquisitive child) and I remember her telling me it was because when babies are born, their parents have to pay their height licence. Some parents didn’t pay their babies licences, so they only grew to a certain height because they didn’t pay to be any taller. Shocked, I asked my mum if she had paid my licence..she said she had. It took me years to figure out there was no such thing as a height licence..*sigh* The things parents tell kids!
7. When I was in Nursery, I used to eat sand and soapy water. LOL

 

So there are my seven random (maybe a little too random) things about me..lol..
