Loved..

I was at work this morning.. Tired from cleaning the night before and generally wasn’t having that great a day..

About an hour or two later, a friend of mine walks in to collect some feedback for assignments she had done before having to begin preparations towards graduation.

With her she’d brought a piece of a cake that she’d baked to give to me to say thank you for everything I have done for her and helped with. She is genuinely one of the most amazing, thoughtful and selfless people I have met.. and when she goes back to Japan I will miss her..

The cake was all kinds of tasty and moist and coconutty (Wiki says this is a word.. but I will understand if you don’t believe me.. I could have added it to Wikipedia myself.. but I didn’t.. but now you probably don’t even believe me.. I will now stop talking.. lol)..

It was especially amazing because she remembered the fact that I have so many ridiculous allergies and baked a vegan cake especially for me.. I’m really sad to see her go 😦

I have amazing people in my world.. She is one in a million..
