I dare you..

I dare you to define me.. Discourage me or attempt to defeat me this year.

On January 1st.. People are notoriously famous all over the world for making ‘resolutions’ – my problem with New Years resolutions? Some people have already decided what their resolutions are going to be.. But a lot don’t make it there.
Why wait for a New Year to make a change.. Do you. Don’t believe that change isn’t possible unless you get that fresh start associated with a New Years resolution. When you actively decide to change any part of your life and your being – THAT – is your new start.. It may be January, it may be July or it may even be October. Do YOU. Not what anyone thinks of you or what you should be.
Get out of that destructive relationship.. People that love you don’t want to hurt you or change you. Get rid of those negative friends. People that want what’s best for you will help you get there – not tell you that you shouldn’t try. Get out of that ‘can’t’ mentality. A large majority of the time you can (unless it is physically impossible.. But I don’t even believe in that word to be honest).. And the only person holding you back is you. Get rid of that want to be everybody’s everything all the time – you cannot please everyone without upsetting someone else so say yes when you want and no when you want.
Be true to you. What does it matter if you don’t fit what is conventionally the norm? Stop caring about what other people have to say about you when it doesn’t add value to your world.. And don’t confuse what I’m saying. Constructive criticism of the actions of a person is substantially different from personally attacking their person, feelings or their character. Know when to say ‘STOP.’

I dare you to define me.. Discourage me or attempt to defeat me this year.

I’m about to embark on my second Project365.. It’s good to be back.

Happy New Year everybody.
