Day 311..#86400 Seconds

I am swimming in assignments!

There are 86,400 seconds in a day..and for some reason, that’s not enough.

I now have a game plan. A game plan so foolproof that in 2 weeks, all my work will be done with and I can start revising for my 3 January exams.

I have faith in myself..add that to the trust I have in God and I’m well on my way to graduating.

But I don’t just want to graduate.

I want to graduate at the top of my class.

I’ve been telling one of my lecturers since my first year that I am going to graduate with a First Class Honours degree. He said I can’t, because he graduated with a 2:1.

I laughed and looked him in the eye.

“I WILL get a First Class Honours sir. You just wait and see.”

It’s time to get down to business.

There is no more time for play..or faffing about..or anything else of the sort.

I am going to do it..and I am going to do it well.

I’ve always said that I don’t understand the phrase “the sky is the limit”

How can you aim for the sky when it’s something that you can see?

Aim beyond that..the sky is NOT the limit..

..It’s just the beginning.

Good luck with the high sights you’ve set for yourself! Just remember that if you fall a little and just get that 2:1 you’ll be in good company with a lot of us 😉

Well said. I don’t like when someone tries to tell you that you can do something. Next time someone tries to compare you to themselves, tell them not to compare Apples to Oranges. 🙂

Sorry, Apple, but I have to get a little bit Ricky Lake here and shout out: “You go, girl!” 🙂 What fantastic determination and will power. I am in no doubt that you will succeed. I got a 2:1 at uni and was very happy with that. But then I didn’t work hard enough to get a 1st. I wonder if I might have been able to achieve it. But I didn’t want it enough. You do and you deserve to achieve it! I’m rooting for you! 😀

  I think results come out in June..I’m planning to work hard up until the last day of exams..then pass out..!
