Day 302..#I Finally Have an Embarrassing Story to Tell..

Good news!

Boiler was fixed this morning! I knew what the problem was last night, but I didn’t want to do anything to it that would make it worse, so I waited for the Landlord to come this morning with the Engineer, and all the problems have been resolved!

Today, my friend and I stayed in during the afternoon, and whilst she napped, I re-twisted my hair.

Then we had some lunch, got dressed and ready and headed over to the Dragons VS Topcats Basketball game at the college and THE MOST embarrassing thing happened to me!

So, I needed to use the bathroom, so I asked the guy who was selling tickets to the game where I could go, and he pointed me across to the changing rooms. I went through and tried a few doors. They were locked, so I went back to the girls shower room, and thought to myself that there must be a bathroom in there.

I went in and say the toilet straight ahead.

I went in, the lock wasn’t shutting properly, so I closed the door, did what I needed to do and as I was sorting myself out, I heard a male voice enter the GIRLS changing room.

“No, no, no, no!” I started saying in my head whilst rushing around trying to ready myself!

More voices came in, and at this point I realised that it must have been one of the teams..but I didn’t know which one!

*It was two guy teams playing each other by the way..I just wasn’t told they would be using the locker rooms to change..after all I WAS told I could use them*

At this point, I was contemplating whether or not to shout that “THERE IS A GIRL IN HERE!”, but nothing came out of my mouth and I was in panic mode.

As I prayed to myself that no one would be stripping off to have a shower, or want to use the bathroom, the door opened and I blocked it with my foot going, “THERE’S A GIRL IN HERE! THERE’S A GIRL IN HERE!!”

All you heard on the other side of the door was “OOOOOOHHHHHH!”

I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me right there!

I washed my hands and asked “Can I come out??” like I was really expecting them to say no and heard a chorus of “Yeah” from the other side of the door.

I exhaled, opened the door and stood there in shock staring at the coach and apologising profusely, making eye contact with no one.

I stepped forward and realised that the whole team was in the locker room, kept apologising and saying that I was told I could use this bathroom as it went silent around me.

I don’t know how many times I apologised, but looking only at the coach, I apologised again and ran out of the locker room to whispers and giggles of the guys saying “I think I know her..”

It was SO EMBARRASSING!

Always me! Seriously!

This will most definitely not be something I’ll forget any time soon!

*I’m laughing and shaking my head because I still can’t believe it happened!*

 

N.B. At the slumber party I blogged about last week, the girls were all telling embarrassing stories, but nothing embarrassing had ever happened to me for me to share (I don’t embarrass easily at all!), so I guess that now, I have an embarrassing story to tell for next time!
