Day 268..#The First Day of the Rest of my Life..
Tomorrow I’m starting the first day of the rest of my life.
Okay..so that sounds serious.
I’m starting my first day of my final year of University.
This day has been a long time coming.
I don’t know..I’m nervous I think..but that’s not manifesting. The only thing I can think about is what I’ll wear for my first day.
The first day outfit is very important. It sets the pace for the rest of the year.
Or not.
But yeah..I’ve checked the weather and weather warnings have been issued for the start of this week..can you imagine? Just great!
Rain, thunder and lightning. I can’t wait.
The only thing that confirms is that I am wearing my leather boots..I don’t know where my Wellington boots are. I’m not quite sure I packed them. I’ll call my mother tomorrow and ask her.
So tomorrow starts the first day of the rest of my life..
Still dramatic?
Yes. I thought so too.

Ok, now we’ve just GOT to see what that outfit is! Get a photo on here so we can look and, without doubt, tell you how ‘knock-em-dead’ you looked. Seriously, enjoy the time. Uni goes by so quickly and when you’re my age you miss it sooooo much!

I will try and enjoy the time..we’ve been warned that it will go incredibly quickly (in as little as two blinks even!)..It’s going to be an emotional time!
Yeah it will – I’ve seen hundreds go through it over the years as well as experiencing it myself – I suspect it is one of the reasons I’m doing another Masters – I just don’t want to leave university!

I always liked that saying and the positive energy behind it. We could start every morning thinking that as we try to make the most of every day, the most of our life always.

Thanks Scott..it wasn’t too bad to tell you the truth..very tiring..but I made two friends which is kind of cool! So I’m getting there..and I realised that there are a lot more familiar faces than I anticipated..all in all..a good first day..wasn’t too awkward 😛
