Day 267..#Pillows

These past 3 weeks (this final week especially) have been the busiest I’ve had this summer.

Now, I can’t complain because I remember for the longest time, I had also been bored.. So now I have been kept busy I cannot justify complaining yet again!

Today I continued adding touches to my room, going back and forth to town, which would explain why my body is so tired.

I also decided that today I would wash my pillows before using them, seeming as they had been in storage in excess of one year.

I put two of my eight pillows in our washing machine that has a drum size of 6.5kg (yes, I have eight pillows..I only sleep on two of the eight though!), however when washing synthetics on the setting I was using, I was only allowed to load up 3 kg of items.

Now, I’m not sure if you are supposed to wash pillows in the washing machine, but I think I am sure that my pillows were part of the “do not wash these” type.

The wash took 82 minutes, and when I took it out of the washing machine the interior of the pillow had disintegrated.

Needless to say those two pillows have now been disposed of..soaking wet, and I have pre-ordered two new pillows that I will go and pick up either tomorrow or on Monday from Argos 🙂

On another note, I am slowly but surely getting through my emails!

School is about to start and I’ve been running around like a headless chicken trying to sort out books, work, scheduling and timetables and everything else.

I’m telling you this because I want to let you all know that I appreciate the comments left on some of my posts and I promise by the end of tomorrow, I would have checked and responded to the comments that have been left for me, as well as read and respond to your own posts.
