Day 224..#Another Clumsy Day..

Today I was ascending the stairs, two at a time; as I have been doing for the 13+ years we have lived in this house.

I took two large leaps, four stairs gone, leapt up again and went crashing down, landing on my finger, bending it backwards and screaming in agony!

My parents looked over at me, laughed, then my dad said..”Where are you always running to?! Slow down! Are you okay?”

I looked at my finger and wiggled it. It was not broken, which was awesome! I stood up and slowly proceeded up the remaining stairs to my room and sat on my bed.

My mother walked past my room, did a double-take and stood in the doorway. I didn’t even notice, “Are you okay?” she asked.

“Yes.” I responded quietly.

 

I went back down the stairs and sat there quietly.

I made the mistake of not putting something cold on my finger when I initially fell, so now my finger had swollen and was a funny pink colour..

I am so clumsy!

Nobody in my house bats an eyelid when I run into things any more..I think since I know it’s going to happen, I always assume it should hurt less. Not the case!

I spent the rest of the day watching Four Weddings UK & US (with a box of tissues) and My Fair Wedding.

Then I washed my hair.

My day was awesome.
