Day 184..#And The Dentist Saga Returns..

It’s been almost 3 months since my last post about the dentist..

And since it’s been three months..that means that I need to go back to check if my gums have healed *or fused together with the screw* in order for them to finish the implant with the crown..

So today..I went to the dentist..to book an appointment.

It’s warm today..and I leisurely strolled the 20 minute walk to my dentist in the 31 degree heat..booked the appointment..and came back.

Friday. The Appointment has been booked for Friday.

I’m not scared..I mean..it’s just a check-up. I’m not scared.

And to be fair..the procedure wasn’t all that bad..it’s the pain that came afterwards that made me feel as if it was the end of my existence as I knew it..

But I’m not scared.

It’s just a check-up.

Plus, my mouth is in good shape. No pain.

Things occasionally get stuck in the whole in my gum and it freaks me out to no avail that something will get stuck up there..but there’s no pain. That’s good.

So..yeah..the hard part is over..I think..now it’s going to be more waiting..

It’s just a check-up.

Don’t worry pal, if the dentist even gives you a twinge – bite down, they’ll be much more careful after that.
Or better still, my grandad’s dentist advice: take hold of their meat and two veg (not sure what that is) and say “this isn’t going to hurt us is it….?”
