Day 169..#Happy Father’s Day!

Commonly enough.. it seems like sometimes amongst all that our mothers do for us..we sometimes forget our fathers!

I always say..we should appreciate our parents every day..a special day is nice..but you never know the cards life will deal to us..so don’t wait for “special” days to appreciate them..do so everyday..you know..?

Anyway, I’ve always been a daddy’s girl..Growing up..I clung onto him like a house on fire..

If anything was wrong, I’d run to him and he’d always be awesome in making me feel better.

My dad was strict with all of us growing up.

Is strict.

Like most parents, he wanted us to be the best in everything we did, and made sure with his help, we got there!

26 years after becoming a father for the first time..he’s still doing an awesome job..

Offering up advice, words of encouragement and wise words of wisdom!

And for that I’ll always be thankful!

My daddy in my specs..lol

I also realise on this day, that not everyone has had a father present in their lives for whatever reason..

I want to say well done to those mothers who are also fathers..

Well done to the father’s in their kids lives..

And to those who lost their fathers along the way..to remember the good times..

 

On this day I also want to thank God, for also being a father to so many..

That comforter when we’ve needed to talk..that is always here for us..listening..and loving unconditionally..

Nothing can separate God’s love..

 

So with that said..I’d like to wish all of the wonderful fathers (and mother’s!) a Happy Father’s Day!!
