Day 159..#Housework & Heels!
Today I had an amazing day..
For no other reason other than it was an amazing day!
It started off by me accidentally stepping on and breaking my house mates straighteners..*woopsie daisies*
How is that the start to a good day you ask?!
Yeah..it wasn’t..but that was okay..lol
After that, I met up with a friend from school and we grabbed some lunch (straighteners in tow..as I had to fix them..but then realised everything was closed because today was a holiday in Portugal..so I was just walking around with straighteners..lol) and talked for a little while.
When we finished our lunch..I had an idea..Electrical tape.
I was planning on at least attempting to fix what I had damaged.
I am an engineer after all 😉
So my friend and I headed to the supermarket, and then to another store in search for some electrical tape. We were in luck!
I found 3 mini rolls for 85 cents and purchased them.
We then taped the straighteners back together and can happily say it was functioning correctly.
As unimpressed as my house mate was that I’d crushed her straighteners, I seemed to have saved my skin with the tape..only just..lol!
My house mates had gone sight-seeing and I got back to my studying and as you do..I got bored.
Looking around my room, I decided I wanted to play dress up and so I did..
I got out a lovely dress..belt..shoes..did my hair, got out my clutch bag and started prancing round the house!
As I pranced, I noticed the house was a mess, so I put my clutch bag down, took my dress off..put on some jeans and a tank top (keeping my heels on of course!) and grabbed the vacuum cleaner and started cleaning whilst dancing like a manic to Angie Stone‘s – I Wish I Didn’t Miss You 😛
Oooooooooo yeah! 😀
I had quite the eventful day..
Even having an incredibly random conversation with my parents on Skype..*Hi Mum!* ha ha..
I eventually went back to studying and am still wearing my heels..*fun times*
My house mates are getting ready to go out..upon their departure the prancing and music shall continue!
*They already think I’m strange..but sometimes it’s wise to play it cool you know.. 😉*

It may be something I do more often..it just makes you feel so alive..dancing and vacuuming in motion to the beat of the music..and catwalking (no pun intended..lol) around the house whilst the neighbours looked on and laughed..loool..shuffle shuffle.. 😛
I haven’t heard that Angie Stone song in forever! Used to be jam! I admire the fact that even if your day doesn’t start of positive you keep pushing forward and finding the beauty in it:)
