Day 151..#Very Inspiring Blogger Award..
Today has been so hectic..
I went to sleep last night not feeling too good..and ended up waking up several times during the night to a nauseating feeling..and having to rush to the bathroom..and drinking several cups of lemon tea..*sigh*
Needless to say it wasn’t the best night of sleep for a day before my exam! Due to the fact I was still tired when I eventually “awoke” studying started off rather sluggishly..
I got some things done today (towards my Friday exam..I finished studying for tomorrows exam yesterday..yay me!) which is the main thing..and I feel like I am ready for my exam tomorrow..it’s at 9am..so I’m going to sleep in an hour *yikes*
For the past two years, I’ve had this habit.
Before the start of every exam paper, I take my pen and write this across the top:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding..acknowledge Him in *ALL* you do and He will direct your path.” (Proverbs 3:5&6 – emphasis added)
It’s kind of my way of saying..okay Lord..I’ve done my part..now I’m handing it over to you to do the rest..and it relaxes me..and makes me feel better.
I recall not writing it on 2 of my exams last semester and failing both of them..because I was scared..I passed them the 2nd time round..but that’s not the point..I didn’t give myself over to God 100%..my trust was wavering because I felt even if I’d studied or not I was going to fail anyway..uurgh..the power of your tongue!
Tomorrow morning, at 9am..I’m turning it all over to Him..heck..I might as well do it now! That was I also know that I’ll have a good night’s sleep!
It was nice this morning to wake up to check my email to find I had been awarded the Very Inspiring Blogger Award!
It made me smile.. 😀 <<<—– yes, just like that!
