Day 125..#I’m sensing a pattern..
These last few posts have all been about food..hmm..lol
Imagine my excitement today when I was browsing around the supermarket for Lemon Tea..and I came across Ginger Ale..GINGER ALE! Oh em gee!
It’s awesome! I didn’t even know they had it in Portugal.
I bought two bottles. π
Something happened to the other one π
This evening for dinner I had my 3-way salt and pepper potato wedges with bacon pieces on top with the BBQ sauce from yesterdays chicken..(there was a lot left..so I jarred it up and placed it in the fridge..so awesome! :P) but I kept eating before then..lol..
I had cake..reallly nice cake..a pot of pineapple jelly (jello)..then a bowl and a half of strawberries covered in powdered sugar and dipped in sugar (I know..naughty!)..3 kiwi, yoghurt..potato chips..
I was snacking more than usual today *embarrassed face*
Amongst all of that..I went for a walk in the park..got some work done for class and found out some wonderful information that will be of great benefit to me on my way home (to the UK) in July! π
So all in all..its been a pretty rockin’ day π
*exhales*..Now I have to wash my hair..
..I’ll start today..finish tomorrow afternoon..ish π
Glad you had a good day!
Thank you π
It sounds like it’s been a great day, and a great start to the weekend! I love jelly! Will need to make some, it’s been too long! π
They don’t have the jelly here you can make yourself..well they may do..but I’ve never seen it anyway..lol..
Yes..it’s awesome!
You should try using the ginger ale as a marinade on chicken. I’ve seen them do it on Food Network, and it looked delicious.
ooooh…that sounds interesting! I’m going to look that up!
Ooh, is it the weird powdered stuff like in North America? That is pretty weird. I do like jelly. I also love that suggestion your friend has made about the ginger ale! Might try it with ginger beer – might be a more intense flavour. Yum. π
Its not really anything at all..its very strange..its either ready made..or nothing at all..awkward..next time I’m in the supermarket I’ll make it a point to go and check what they actually have in that aisle..
And I’ll definitely be trying that Ginger Ale chicken once I get a recipe..or I may just experiment..lool!
It’s just not so satisfying when you don’t get to make it yourself, is it? I think you need your dad to send you a care package from the UK. π
Dad’s gone away for two weeks for a family wedding..lol..no packages for a while..*he he*
Man, that really sucks! π
It does..but I must say..I’ve fallen for the pineapple jelly *covers face in shame*..I’d love some Orange though..mmmmm
Why do I become hungry everytime I read your blog?!? lol
I used to have a schweppes “wind-glider” that I won in a contest many years ago…and the irony is I’m not a huge fan of ginger ale π Spicy BBQ is a very different story!….lol
Lool..its not my fault..I’m just hungry by default and am therefore always inclined to share..food is a very important part of me..like today..my house mate and I made various dips..a yoghurt garlic dip, non-spicy BBQ dip..ranch dip..thousand island..just because she wanted to try some..lol..
Spicy BBQ is awesome! But I totally understand about the ginger ale..people either like it..or they don’t..kind of like marmite..I don’t like that *shudders*
What was I saying..yeah..food..its kinda awesome..I wanted to be a chef when growing up..but I had too many allergies..lol..
Your blog is always making me hungry now π
Have a blessed week!
Lol!
I’ll try and tone down the foody posts..or open up another blog..lol..
hey, continue with the food ones too. I always loved food and cooking actually. I like the mix here and food is always a good topic anywhere π
Okies π
Duly noted π
I have a fun post coming up in about an hour or so..my day has been awesome π
