Day Ninety-Eight..#Happy Easter!!
Happy Easter everybody!
This is the first Easter I’ve spent in all my life without being with my family..and it’s kinda weird..
I had church this morning..then since then, have come back and am getting on with some University work..
😛
Anyway..in the spirit of my family tradition..every year..every Easter Sunday..this song is playing in my house in the morning..on repeat..whilst we get ready for the Sunday service..
It’s an old style traditional song..but it’s played at least once a year in our household..so I thought I’d share..
..Plus it’s grown on me over the years..and I think it’s quite awesome..
Great song to dance around the room to! 🙂

Confessions of an Apple Junkie 
i am kind of down today. I should not be. i went to church. i know what this day represents. i know i can not make it without my god beside me, but today my brother fell at church due to his parkinsons. u probably read my story already on here. i posted it today. i have three grown kids, two near, one farther away. not one text, or phone call. i guess i always wanted to be the leave it to beaver mom. i had kids so when they grew up they would come home to visit, call, say i love u. too much to expect in today’s world i guess. busy busy busy
I was down a little bit..cuz I’m so far from my family..and they never called me..I had to call them! It’s like they forgot about me! (I know they didn’t..!)..I’m sorry to hear about your brother falling..
It’s not too much to expect in today’s world..I would expect the same things!
Remember when you are feeling down..or unappreciated..*which I’m sure you are not*..you’ve always got a friend in Jesus who is always there no matter what! I hope you feel better soon..

My dear sister I am so sorry to hear that you spent it without your family this year, And though it was because of your studies you have something nobody could ever take away from you and that are your memories.
I am happy to hear you made it to church and that you was with your church family, and I know they can’t take place of your real family, but I pray that next year you are with them. And hopefully with all the other holidays coming up you can see some of them or talk to them on the phone.
Holidays can be sadden for many people for they either are far away or some have passed on but God gives us all something and that are those memories and you shared them with us today in this song…thank you…and may God grant you and everyone else who posted today the sincerity of peace in your minds and hearts today…
