Day Eighty-Eight..#Did You Know it was 2012?!

Today I got shocked when the lecturer wrote that it was 2012..Everyone in class looked at me like I’d been living in the Twilight Zone for the past 3 months or something..

*Random Classroom Outbursts..Epic Fail! Shakes head in shame*

 

20-12..twenty-twelve..two thousand and twelve..duno..has a nice kinda ring to it.

 

So 2011 has long gone *or so they say..hmm..lol*..just like 2010..9..8..you get where I’m going with this..

Like every year..there have been highs..and there were lows..luckily for me..the highs definitely outweighed the lows this year..passed all my exams..moved to Portugal..realised that I have the most amazing people in my life..you know..the little things people usually take for granted..
The lows for me..were few..but they really took it out of me..
If I learnt anything last year it was to always be myself regardless of what was going on around me..and irrespective of what people thought of me..I started to be a little selfish..I know it sounds bad..but it was just what I needed..thinking about me..putting myself first a little..its nice sometimes 🙂

 

I struggled with issues that I hadn’t dealt with..and realised that no matter how fast you run..your problems can run just as fast..until you eventually decide to..or are forced to deal with them..

So I stopped running.

 

Anyway..at the beginning of last year..I don’t think I actively sat down and said, I’m going to do x, y and z..I’m not really a resolution kinda girl..ha ha..all I said was that my best parts of 2010 would be my worst parts in 2011..and believe you me..they definitely were..

 

In a couple of days..April will be upon us..month four of twelve of two thousand and twelve..now is it me or do the months pass by faster every year??

 

The past 3 months have been an experience if I’ve ever had one..and as we say goodbye to the final few days in March I have this strange feeling that the year is going to get that much more better..

 

Can’t wait..x
