Day Six..#My Fellow 365er’s
Okay..so I failed in getting this post out before 12 midday..*for your information it is now 7:55pm..covers eyes in shame..ooopsies*
So..as promised, I wana introduce you to some of my fellow 365 bloggers that I keep up with daily to read and look at their progress..stories and photographs alike..
*Okay..I’m going to make a confession..I do stalk some of your blogs..#she looks around nervously#..it’s not my fault..really..but that’s a good thing right..tell me your flattered..#smiles broadly:D# *he he*
In no particular order..here are my daily visits..*and I do have to say..they are way more interesting than my blog..loool!*
1. Studio Brow – The Cosmetic Ultralounge

I came across this blog when they liked one of my posts..and like the good blogger I am..I checked them right out *smiles:D*. They talk a lot about Fashion, Hair, Make-Up, Music and other general topics, it’s very informative, as well as interesting, I encourage you to take a peek at what they’re up to.
As I do, I go back through posts and have a read, and I read a post called “Most Common Items Shoplifted this Holiday Season“..I don’t know why..but this post made me laugh so hard I almost wet my pants.. 
But I don’t know why it was so funny..I think it was probably the frankness of how the post had been written..but I’m sorry if I find it amusing..*giggles*

2. 1001 Scribbles

Like Studio Brow, Ana Silva (the author of this blog), liked one of my blog posts. I myself are an Erasmus Exchange student studying in Portugal, and I found that Ana is a Portuguese student at the University of Coimbra *A friend of mine is on the Erasmus Exchange at that University as I type this*.
I think my favourite thing about Ana’s blog are the amazing pictures..she calls herself an “amateur” photographer, but I think she’s pretty amazing..also, I love the fact that she takes the time to write her posts in English AND in Portuguese..gives me the opportunity to hone my Portuguese skills.. 😀

3. Project 365 Challenge – Photo’s with a Story

This a post that is also a collection of photographs all taken by Jackie Paulson. The reason why I love this blog, is because the photo’s are different..that doesn’t mean they’re not good..it means what I said..different..I love the fact *like today* she posts a photo and asks what WE can see in the photo..in opposed to telling us what’s there *personally Jackie, I’m just letting you know that I can only see the pink..lool..I can’t see anything else..and obviously I see the rest of the photograph..etc..*he he*..but yeah..I enjoy looking at her stuff..it always makes me smile..
Keep on keeping on Jackie..I’m with you everyday! 🙂
4. One French Word

Firstly..I just have to say..I love LOVE food *insert smiley here*..I love cooking and experimenting with food..that’s why I can say that I really do look forward to this blog..*especially the photographs*.
So you guys are probably asking what does food have to do with One French Word? Wait..patience and I will tell you 😀
One French Word aims to introduce a French Word a day, that ties in with Gastronomy and will also try and give us a recipe for the food-related word..*yummy..me likey* 😀
It’s also a blog that encourages the learning of French words daily! Education is amazing people! Jump on board! I have 😉
She also has some of the most amazing art pieces I have seen..I even thought that they were photographs of photographs *mouth drops open..I know..they must be great* AND she has pictures of some of the things that she has knitted *because she’s good at that too!*

5. Indulge – Travel, Adventure & New Experiences

Okay..so I don’t even know if this woman knows that I stalk her page (her name is Lesley Carter btw)..she has one of the most amazing blogs I have come across..she seems to be like me..an adrenaline & travel junkie..
I look through Lesley’s posts and find similarities between her and myself..when I was growing up, I wanted to be a pilot, but my mom said that I wasn’t a boy..so I should stop acting like one..I still want to learn how to fly a plane though..that urge will not go away any time soon..been dreaming about it since I was 6 years old..I’m now 22..you see the problem? lool!
She has some really really interesting posts..and I always find myself looking everywhere whenever I visit *I feel like a kid in a candy store..so much I wana experience*. One of the things I love about Lesley’s blog is that she’s visited 33 different countries..I don’t know..as of right now..it could be a whole lot more..I have the zeal to travel..but I haven’t been to even a fraction of the places she has been to! I also love the fact that on her wedding day..she did so many adrenaline-fuelled activities..like..seriously..Lesley, if you’re reading this..*when I grow up I wana be like you 🙂*
I’m now considering creating a Bucket List for 2012..I’ll keep you posted on that!
If you’re an adrenaline-fuelled travelling adventure junkie..you’ll definitely LOVE her blog..she has many pages and posts that I think would appeal to the wider audience also 🙂
6. 365 Veterans – Honouring A Veteran A Day, For A Year

This a blog that has been written by Tina Shang.
I just have to say..of all the blogs I read daily..this blog always touches my heart.
As you can probably tell by the title, it is a blog dedicated to War Veterans; both fallen and existing, and it is an accumulation of their stories and tributes.
I don’t think that words can even describe what I feel when I read this blog.
A few weeks back, I accidentally came across a channel on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/TheBobjohnson1984?feature=g-all-u) that focuses on surprise Military homecoming’s..and before I knew it, I was crying my eyes out, had watched at least 15 videos and had used up all my bedside tissues.
I think even if people haven’t gone through the experience of having a family member in the military (I haven’t just to let you know) that has come back home..or unfortunately didn’t make it..reading the experiences of Military personnel and what they went through will always be touching to someone.
I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate what you are doing. I applaud you for giving Veteran’s a voice..they are incredibly great and inspiring people, who selflessly put their lives on the line everyday to protect their countries. I don’t even know how to begin to explain how much I look forward to the incredible stories and videos that you post daily..and I look forward to reading more and also being educated on what people have gone through.
You’ve picked a topic that is speaks to me on so many levels..and I pray that this helps people with their healing, informs about what military personnel go through and encourages those who need it..God Bless.

Confessions of an Apple Junkie 
You’re a darling, you know that? Thank you for saying such nice things about my blogs. You know, I’ve tried to add a line, whatever it’s called, to the title of my blog to explain that One French Word is a way of learning French and a few recipes at the same time, but that damned line just won’t make itself visible on my blog and I haven’t have time to complain to the authorities about it yet.
I have looked at all the blogs you mention. I already follow 365 Vets, which is magnificent, and the one I prefer apart from that is Lesley Carter’s blog, which I’ve signed up to follow. Thanks for the links!

Hey thanks for the nice write up on my blog. Glad you see Pink…My favorite color. Anyhow you did “stalk” us…lol I do it too…but your write up is so amazing. I love it…because now they add a touch of each persons “gift” to the challenge by you and your eloquent words. I will be back later on, I got two hours sleep and went to have my drug test and get uniforms for my new Security job I start on Monday..funny thing is when I do security “i am so serious” and when I blog I can let it all hang out…lol…and laugh and be silly too. It’s so fun. It’s even more fun to come here knowing that other like you, enjoy photo’s or my photo’s as it is a challenge for me. I have no idea what to post for day 7-LOL and still need a nap.
