I’m back baby…
So I’m back…in every sense of the phrase…
Back home for a few days…back online (whoo hoo!)…and back to being myself…well…almost (that’s a very different blog post…trust me)
But generally I am FUMING right now for a number of different reasons…
So I leave the house and get to church (we have a mid-week church service on Wednesdays) and I get there and two bricks have gone through the window, and church workers are cleaning up glass. Yes. Someone broke into a church. CHURCH?! Really?!
THOUGHT: And I was having such a good day…slightly unproductive, but good nonetheless…
Okay, so let me explain properly…
A few weeks back our church got a new premises…was an exciting time…so everyone pulled together to clean it, repaint the walls, create new advertising and all the other things that comes along with it…
We have 3 services a week (4 if you count the 1st Friday of the month when we have a Watchnight Service) – Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday evening. This is the 2nd week we’ve been on the premises and things were going well…
Been in the house all day…tryna get a grip of my new laptop and completing Uni work, then I realised you know, it’s time for church. So I get myself ready…I wanted to walk (would have taken me around 45 minutes to an hour), but it was too cold. So I travelled up the road to top up my oyster card and jumped on a bus. Half an hour later I get to church and my dad was like…someone’s put a brick through the window…
THOUGHT: You know those moments where you hear what someone says and don’t quite process the information? Yeah…those were one of those moments…Shambles
FURTHER THOUGHT: Can you imagine?! A single oyster journey is now £1.30! What happened to £1 fares with your oyster card?! Seriously! I think I may need to invest in a car…I’d rather pay more for gas and whatnot, than pay so much to get on cold public transport that can be adversely unreliable…
So I go upstairs, and yes indeed, two bricks have in fact come through the window. One landed on the far side of the wall and took a piece out of it, and the other landed by the pulpit. I walked over to the broken window and stuck my head through the glassless pane and looked down…don’t know what I was looking for, but I was getting very annoyed. I asked if anything was taken and they said no…so I start looking around and someone calls the police…half an hour later, they show up.
The thieves (or thief – don’t know how many there were at this point, but it’s cool…they’ll get what’s coming to them) did some weird things and it’s actually after the church workers looked around for about the 4th time that they realised something actually WAS missing…*sigh*
Thieves are scum. SCUM.
Robbing in general is cjdhxvdcscjgldskjgvfbdh (that’s how ANNOYED I am!) and then you want to go and rob a CHURCH?! A place of worship?!
Some people have no respect.
It’s not our battle though…it’s God’s now…they didn’t start a war with us and our Church…They started a war with God cuz they broke into HIS house…so yeah…that’s kinda given me a little piece of mind…
But yeah…other than that…a lot has actually happened in my blagsence (blagsence = blog absence).
THOUGHT: I really should write a book about my life…or at least film it…it’s emotional…
I’ll take this with a pinch of salt and forgive and forget…what else can I do??
But yeah…now I’m back online…blogs will be more frequent…I do apologise for the lack thereof and let’s hope it won’t happen again.
S’all love in apple world…
It’s good to be back!
